Springhills Sunlit Roux
Springhills Sunlit Roux (pronounced Rue) is our foundation breeding girl. Her name means russet in French which was her coat colour as a puppy. Her adult coat is significantly lighter and coupled with her black pigmentation, Roux is classified as an Apricot Cobberdog
Her nose and eye pigment is Black. Her eyes are a soulful brown.
She is a standard sized Cobberdog measuring 57cm at the top of the shoulder and weighing 20kg.
Roux is an F4 generation cobberdog.
She is friendly and affectionate, gentle, confident and even tempered. An intelligent girl who is easily trained, only needing to be shown things once.
She is relaxed and calm 90 percent of the time and a goofball the remaining 10 percent.
Roux's DNA panel indicates she is clear of 36 genetic diseases as tested for the Australian Cobberdog.
Her hips have been scored using the PENNHIP method with a distraction index of 0.44 on the right and 0.37 on the left.
X-rays indicate there are no abornormalities of the elbows. And no radiograph evidence of osteoarthritic changes in her hips. Roux's hip scores place her below the breed averge.
Roux has a soft light density straight fleece odourless coat which genetically has the lowest possible shedding factor.
Cain Hill Boquira
Cain Hill Boquira is our foundation stud. Boquira is a standard size measuring 56cm at the wither. Bo weighs 23kg.
Bo is an F3 generation cobberdog.
He is DNA clear of 36 heritable diseases (full cobberdog DNA panel)
Bo has an amazingly soft, long, straight, odourless cream coloured coat which genetically has the lowest shedding factor possible. With his liver pigmentation and light eyes, Bo is classified as a Cool Caramel Cobberdog.
He has a beautiful connected nature, very relaxed, affectionate, low energy, intelligent, strong human connection and is easily trainable. At just 15 months old, Bo is still very young, and can be a funny goofball at times.
Boquira has been Pennhip scored and elbow xrayed with excellent results - 0.38 on the right and 0.39 on the left hip.
No radiograph evidence of osteoarthritic changes.
Boquira's hip scores place him significantly below the breed averge.
